DoveLingua English Learning Academy is a professionally designed, structured English education programme built for Mozambican learners and open to the world.
Born from observation
DoveLingua was not born from a business plan. It was born from a pattern observed too many times: students enrolling in English lessons with genuine motivation, studying hard - and then gradually disappearing. Not because they stopped wanting to learn. Because nothing told them they were going anywhere. Without a destination, the journey becomes impossible to sustain.
DoveLingua was founded to solve exactly that problem - to transform informal English learning into something structured, professional, and worthy of the effort every student invests.

We are not an explanation session. We do not promise fluency in three months. We are a complete, professionally documented English learning programme - where every student knows exactly where they start, what they will learn, and what they will be able to do in English by the end.

Chosen on 16th April 2026 after a careful process that explored and rejected many alternatives. Confirmed by search: no other school, brand or organisation anywhere in the world operates under this name.

A universal symbol of peace, hope and communication. It also carries the personal identity of the founder - a name worn with purpose.
From Latin and Portuguese, meaning language. It gives the name an academic, elegant and international quality.

How we teach. Why it works.
DoveLingua follows the Communicative Language Teaching approach - the most respected methodology in modern English education. This directly addresses the most common failure of English teaching in Mozambique, where students study grammar for years but cannot hold a basic conversation.
Students encounter new vocabulary or grammar through a real communicative context. They see language doing something before they analyse it.
Students practise through speaking, listening, reading and writing. All four skills are integrated in every lesson.
Students use the language independently - in real conversation, to do something they could not do before the lesson started.

Every level is a complete learning experience with its own syllabus, communicative goals, assessments and certificate. Students progress upon passing a final exam, not simply by attending.
For absolute beginners. No prior knowledge needed. Builds confidence and removes the fear of English before formal learning begins.

🕐 ~12 weeksHandle everyday situations - shopping, food, past events and plans. First real experience of communicating in English.

🕐 ~14 weeksCommunicate with accuracy on a wide range of topics. The internationally recognised threshold of functional English.

A professional experience from the very first lesson.
DoveLingua believes that technology should serve learning - not complicate it. Every part of the DoveLingua experience is designed to be simple, reliable and professional.
The entire enrolment process is automatic. Every student is entitled to an official receipt - processed without delay.
Lessons do not take place on WhatsApp. DoveLingua has a professional dedicated platform where students feel present and connected - as if teacher and student are in the same room.
All student records, grades and exam results are saved on the platform. Students can review their progress months later to see exactly how far they have come.
DoveLingua believes in equality and equity. Some students want to learn English but cannot yet pay for lessons. That is why DoveLingua developed a free English learning app - English Dove - publicly available for anyone who wants to start learning without any cost.
