By enrolling in any DoveLingua service or using any DoveLingua platform, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Policies. Please read them carefully before making any payment. If you have any questions, contact us at support@dovelingua.com before enrolling.

This document sets out the Terms of Use of DoveLingua English Learning Academy services, the rights and duties of enrolled students, the rules governing the use of our digital platforms, and the general conditions of our educational services. It applies to all users — enrolled students, free platform users and website visitors. By enrolling or using any DoveLingua service, the user declares to have read, understood and accepted these terms.

Chapter I
General Provisions
Article 1 Scope and Application

These terms apply to all users of DoveLingua English Learning Academy services — including enrolled students, users of free platforms and website visitors.

The use of any DoveLingua platform or service implies full acceptance of these terms. DoveLingua reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will be communicated in advance through all official platforms and channels.

Article 2 Institutional Identity

DoveLingua English Learning Academy is an English language academy founded in Mozambique in April 2026 by Gildo Angélica Dove (Teacher Dove) — holding a Licenciatura em Inglês com Especialização ao Ensino from Universidade Save, with over seven years of English teaching experience.

DoveLingua does not currently hold government accreditation. Certificates issued are official recognitions of the institution itself, issued by a qualified teacher. DoveLingua is committed to operating with transparency, honesty and respect for all its students and users.

Government registration and accreditation is a clearly defined goal in DoveLingua's institutional roadmap.

Chapter II
Enrolment & Payments
Article 3 Enrolment Process

Enrolment at DoveLingua is available online through www.dovelingua.com/enrol. Each student must provide truthful and up-to-date information at the time of enrolment.

Level 0 — First Steps — is free and automatic for all students who enrol in Level 1 — Beginner. No fees are associated with this level.

Before enrolling, students must check the Programme page. The first enrolment in each level includes a Taxa de Inscrição (registration fee), applied automatically by the system.

Every enrolled student receives an official receipt generated automatically by the enrolment system.
Article 4 Payment Modalities

DoveLingua offers three payment modalities:

  • Monthly (Mensal) — the student pays the Taxa de Inscrição and the first month's course fee at enrolment. From the second month onwards, only the Taxa do Curso (course fee) applies. The registration fee is removed automatically by the system.
  • Full Level (Nível Completo) — the student pays the full cost of the level in one payment. This modality includes a percentage discount that varies by level.
  • Full Course — the student enrols in multiple levels at once. Contact support for personalised pricing.

The optional Material Didáctico is paid once per level and can be purchased at any time. Students without it receive worksheets from the teacher.

Article 5 Accepted Payment Methods
  • Students in Mozambique: M-Pesa, e-Mola, bank transfer or PayPal.
  • Students outside Mozambique: PayPal or international bank transfer.

After payment, keep the proof until confirmation is received. Wait up to 24 hours before contacting support.

Article 6 Refund Policy & Absences
DoveLingua does not issue refunds to students who enrolled and subsequently withdrew during the course.

A student who misses 10 consecutive lessons without prior justification is automatically failed. To re-enrol, the student pays only 25% of the previous amount.

Justified absences must be communicated at least 5 hours in advance. Contact support for extended justified absences.

In the event of prolonged service interruption, DoveLingua will compensate affected students with equivalent additional lessons or time.

Chapter III
Rights of Enrolled Students
Article 7 General Student Rights

Every enrolled student has the following rights:

  • To receive the services they paid for, as described in the programme for their level.
  • To receive access credentials to DoveLingua Classroom upon confirmation of enrolment.
  • To receive a clear presentation of what will be learned before each lesson begins.
  • To participate in speaking activities and communicative practice in every lesson, regardless of level or difficulties.
  • To have all personal records, grades and exam results stored securely on the platform.
  • To receive an official receipt for every payment made.
Article 8 Timetables & Punctuality

Each level has an organised timetable communicated at enrolment. Students must inform the teacher at least 5 hours before a lesson in case of absence.

DoveLingua lessons take place on DoveLingua Classroom — not on WhatsApp or any messaging application.

Article 9 Assessment & Progression

Each level includes unit tests after every two units and a final exam. Students progress only upon passing the final exam.

Students who do not submit homework for 5 consecutive days receive a 5-mark deduction on the next test.

A student's duration may vary. Longer duration does not imply additional cost, provided absences stay within the limit in Article 6.

Chapter IV
Certificates
Article 10 Certificate Eligibility, Value and Verification

Students who pass the final exam of an eligible level receive a DoveLingua Certificate of Completion. Not all levels include a certificate. Check the Programme page to confirm.

The value of each certificate varies by level. A Level 1 certificate does not carry the same weight as a Level 6 certificate. Each reflects the specific competences achieved.

DoveLingua certificates are not yet government-accredited. They are honest, professionally documented records. Government accreditation is part of DoveLingua's roadmap.

Certificates can be verified at certify.dovelingua.com. Students completing Level 0 through Level 4 or beyond also receive an official DoveLingua t-shirt.

Chapter V
Free Platforms & Users
Article 11 Rights and Rules for Non-Enrolled Users

Anyone may access freely: the educational blog, resources centre, DoveLingua community and the English Dove app — all without enrolment or payment.

The DoveLingua Library may include both free and paid materials. Prices are indicated for each resource.

Users of free platforms must respect community rules: no offensive language, no spam, no inappropriate content.

All freely available content is DoveLingua's intellectual property and may not be reproduced, sold or distributed without express authorisation.

Technology & Access
Article 12 Technical Requirements & Platform Access

Online students need a device with internet. Lessons are on DoveLingua Classroom. Access credentials are provided after enrolment confirmation.

Each student is responsible for their own credentials. Lost passwords can be reset on the platform or via support@dovelingua.com.

Platforms may undergo maintenance. Students are notified in advance. Unplanned interruptions are compensated.

Chapter VII
Intellectual Property & Privacy
Article 13 Intellectual Property

All DoveLingua content — curriculum, syllabuses, lesson plans, course materials, website content, branding and institutional documents — is DoveLingua's exclusive intellectual property.

No DoveLingua content may be copied, reproduced, adapted, sold or distributed without express written authorisation.

Students who copy, sell or misrepresent DoveLingua's curriculum, materials or documents will have their enrolment immediately cancelled without refund.
Article 14 Student Conduct

All students must behave with respect, honesty and dignity towards the teacher, fellow students and the institution.

  • Disruptive, offensive or disrespectful behaviour during lessons is not tolerated.
  • Students may not share their platform access credentials with third parties.
  • Students may not record, distribute or publish lesson content without express authorisation.

DoveLingua reserves the right to cancel enrolment for conduct violations, without refund.

Article 15 Privacy & Personal Data

DoveLingua collects personal data at enrolment (name, age, gender, email, phone, location) used exclusively for enrolment processing, communication and issuing receipts and certificates.

DoveLingua does not sell or share student data with third parties.

Students may request access, correction or deletion of their data at support@dovelingua.com.

Chapter VIII
Final Provisions
Article 16 Programme Changes & Price Updates

DoveLingua reserves the right to update prices, open or close levels, adjust durations and modify services at any time. Students will be notified of significant changes.

Check the Programme page and this Terms page before making any payment. Prices and conditions at the time of enrolment apply to that enrolment.
Article 17 Limitation of Liability

DoveLingua is committed to quality education and reliable platforms. However, DoveLingua is not liable for:

  • Failure to learn resulting from the student's own lack of engagement or attendance.
  • Disruptions caused by third-party internet providers or the student's own devices.
  • Consequences of using a DoveLingua certificate externally — including rejection by bodies not recognising its current non-accredited status.
Article 18 Transparency, Honesty & Contact

DoveLingua does not promise fluency in three months. Check the Programme page for what each level delivers. All pricing and certification criteria are published transparently.
